Idee und Klang GmbH is looking for an intern for up to one year.

About Idee und Klang:
We develope multichannel sound installations and compositions for museums
and events. During the last years we created multichannel compositions for
different projects like the BMW museum in Munich or a Pavilion for the
upcoming World Expo in Shanghai. But also sound design for movies and
acoustic brandings or music for commercials are part of our business.
Idee und Klang owns a high end mixing and mastering studio in which we work
on CD productions and film music. Clients like Herbert Grönemeyer, Thomas D,
World Quintet, Christian Zehnder or the film composer
Niki Reiser took advantage of our high end studio.

What we expect from you:
You have a good musical knowledge and experience in composition and
arranging music. You know how to work with state of the art DAW´s like Pro
Tools or Logic. You have experience in the field of audio engineering as
well as some experience with audio software programming like in Max MSP.

Beside your know how in the field of audio and music we expect a will to
learn and a motivation to contribute to our projects. You are of a
team-minded, friendly and positive nature.

We offer a young and motivated team and the opportunity to work with us on
high quality and exiting projects. Our AROS speaker orchestra offers the
unique chance to learn more about multichannel composition for spaces. Our
studio offers a deep view into the world of recording, mixing and mastering
music on the highest level.

A small allowance will be paid.

I am very interested to apply for an internship for sound design and sound engineering in your studio. I am qualified candidate with good qualification and a strong desire to excel in the profession. I am a positive, committed worker and bring a passion to the workplace.

I have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Music Industry from Minnesota State University Moorhead. I studied ethnomusicology back home in Nepal. My work experiences include serving as a Production Assistant at Prairie Public television in Fargo, ND. I did an internship at Boulder Phil Harmonic Orchestra in Colorado. An internship in the Boulder Phil Harmonic Orchestra has given me the opportunity to gain a solid understanding of a dynamic, full-service production operation, live sound engineering and mixing, marketing, development, and administration. It was honor to have that experience. Recently, I did internship in Information Technology Services (UITS).

Currently, I am enrolled in graduate program in Music technology in IUPUI. It would be great opportunity to have a internship in your place so that I could gain more knowledge.
