The Institute for Analysis, Theory and History of Music, University of
Music and Performing Arts Vienna, is seeking to a appoint a full
professor of Musicology (Music Analysis).

Conditions of admission are: a doctorate in Musicology, an
outstanding qualification in research and teaching for the announced
position, pedagogic and didactic abilities, a proven qualification for
leadership and international experience (lectures, research or  
teaching),
perfect command of the German language.

We expect a broad spectrum of musicological subjects; experiences
with the discipline's recent methodological and conceptual discussions
and/or with humanities and cultural studies; experience in academic
teaching, in academic administration and research management; experience
with interdisciplinary work;willingness to engage in teamwork.
