re-new presents cutting-edge digital art from all over the world in
down-town Copenhagen May 18-23 2010 - http://re-new.org/

We will be hosting concerts, installations and multimedia performances. Are
you working in electronica, multimedia, cross-media or any similar digital
art form interested in participating? Go to our call-for-proposals -
http://re-new.org/re-new-digital-arts-festival/upload/ - to find out about
the categories. Upload your proposals: we need you to make re-new 2010 a
great event!

re-new invites artists, performers, and composers to present their newest
and groundbreaking works of digital music, video, installations, distributed
and collaborative art at re-new 2010. We are interested in all of this and
indeed any other art-form with a signficant digital component. Emphasis is
on non-traditional genres, and submissions are accepted in all categories
including any not mentioned here: we are interested in works that challenge
or expand the current vocabulary and practice of digital creation,
performance, and consumption.

Submission is open until February 14th and the program is announced March
1st.

We will also host a workshop in Max for Live on May 22-23 -
http://re-new.org/max-for-live-workshop/ - as part of re-new 2010. Tutors to
be revealed soon…

Finally, we organise the three-day international symposium ‘Mixed Emotions’
- http://re-new.org/about/ - which will deal with the use and exploration of
human and synthetic emotion in digital design and art. Lecturers and
presenters will be internationally reknowned designers and researchers from
business and academia. Registration to the symposium includes free access to
all concerts at the Festival.

re-new 2010 is sponsored by The Danish Arts Council, Nordic Culture Fund,
Danish Composers' Society and Wilhelm Hansen Foundation.

The re-new 2010 symposium is organized jointly with Medialogy, Aalborg
University.
