You will assist in the setting up of a Digital Arts Innovation
Laboratory,
funded by a grant from the AHRC. The post is currently full-time until
the
end of February 2011, but an extension in funding is being sought to
allow
the post to cover a full five months. The grant is to set up a facility
for cutting-edge digital arts projects within the Institute, an
established centre of excellence in Art, Design, Music and Theatre. You
will assist in the specification, installation and commissioning of this
facility, and may also assist in some artistic projects developed there.
You should have good knowledge of technology used in contemporary arts
and
experience of software and hardware installation and maintenance.
