A survey of electroacoustic music in Uruguay presented by Luis Jure, director of the Studio of Electronic Music at the University of Uruguay (eMe, http://www.eumus.edu.uy/eme). The presentation will begin with the pioneering work of Coriún Aharonián, Ariel Martínez, and Conrado Silva, and will focus on recent pieces by young composers of the newest generation, with special attention to the work done at eMe.
