Täglich ab 10:00 bis spät in die Nacht präsentieren Max Joy und Jonas
Margraf ein ganz besonderes Kunsterlebnis.
Andreas Schneider ermöglichte uns im Rahmen der „Superbooth 16“ eine
aussergewöhnliche Klang-Installation vorzubereiten:
In dem vom Architekten Franz Ehrlich in den 50er Jahren erbauten
wunderschönen verglasten Bogengang mit Blick zur Spree, haben wir eine
24-kanalige Ambient Klang-Installation komponiert, die zum Verweilen und
Flanieren anregt.

Bogengang mit den großen Stahlfenstern ist eine Reminiszenz Ehrlichs an
das Bauhaus und diente als Foyer und Aufenthaltsraum…
Dieser Raum betörte uns so, dass in wenigen Momenten die Idee entstand,
hier im ca. 68 Meter langen Bogengang „Klänge in Bewegung“ zu
installieren. Wir haben dazu spezielle Werkzeuge zur Choreografie der
Klänge entwickelt, die hie erstmalig zum Einatz kommen!

Unabhängig von unserer Installation, möchten wir Euch die eigentliche
Veranstaltung die „Superbooth“ von ganzem Herzen nahelegen, es ist eine
sehr ambitionierte und weltweit die einzige Messe für (modulare)
Synthesizer und elektronische Musikinstrumente. Das Spektrum an
Herstellern ist so gross, ja fast vollständig, dass der
Synthesizer-Modul-Szene kaum etwas fehlen dürfte.
Daüber hinaus gibt es sehr interssante Konzerte, Workshops und
Präsentationen…
Zugang zur Installation ist in der Regel nur mit einem Tages-/

Ambient-Sound-Installation at Funkhaus Nalepastrasse, March 31 – April
2, 2016
Every day from 10am until late. Max Joy and Jonas Margraf present a
unique art experience.
Andreas Schneider gave us the opportunity to prepare an exceptional
sound installation as part of „Superbooth 16“.
Inside the beautiful glass archway of Funkhaus, built by architect Franz
Ehrlich in the 1950s, we have composed a 24 channel
Ambient-Sound-Installation that encourages lingering and strolling along.
A quote from Wikipedia: “…The outer, glass vitrified archway is bathed
in light from its huge steel windows. It presents a tribute of Ehrlich
to the Bauhaus style and served as a foyer and lounge room…”
We were so infatuated with the space that we immediately had the idea to
install “sounds in motion” in this 68m long archway. For this, we
developed special tools for the choreography of sounds that we will
debut here.

In addition to our installation, we highly encourage you to check out
the rest of “Superbooth”. It’s a highly ambitious and unique exhibition
for (modular) synthesizers and electronic musical instruments. The
spectrum of manufacturers is so big, it covers almost the entire
industry of modular companies. Beyond that there are going to be
countless interesting concerts, workshops and presentations.
Access to the installation is regulary only possible with a day-/
night-ticket, or a full-event-ticket, see:
