What happens, when music is translated into music? The festival Labor
Sonor : Translating Music presents nine premieres on three concert
nights with re-compositions, cover versions and reinterpretations that
cross borders of style and genre: Echtzeitmusik meets contemporary
composition, minimal techno and experimental pop. The concerts are
accompanied by a symposium with lectures and discussions, offering
insights into the practice of musical translation.
