Liebe Kunst,-Musik,-und Architekturinteressierte,
unsere sehr gut angenommene Ausstellung EXTENDED COMPOSITIONS, die sich
im Centre d’Art Pasquart auf über 1600 qm in über 20 Räumen auf 4 Etagen
erstreckt
geht bald zu Ende. Bis zum 11. Juni kann man die Ausstellung noch
sehen/hören.
Ich würde mich sehr über Euer/Ihr Kommen freuen und werde am Wochenende
09./10./11. Juni selbst auch vor Ort sein.
Man kann diesen Ausstellungsbesuch wunderbar mit einem Wochenende am
schönen Bieler See verbinden.
Die Lage am Fuß des Berner Jura ist großartig und der See verströmt um
diese Jahreszeit tatsächlich eine mediterrane Stimmung.
Die ART BASEL beginnt direkt in der Woche danach.

Die Ausstellung EXTENDED COMPOSITIONS zeigt das Beziehungsgeflecht
zwischen Kunst und Musik, Sehen und Hören, Bild, Raum und Klang. Eine neue
eigenständige künstlerische Praxis im Spannungsfeld von musikalischer und
visueller Komposition wird sichtbar, hörbar – und spürbar.
Werke aus Film, Video, Installation, Malerei, Musik und Klang ermöglichen
unterschiedliche Perspektiven auf das Ausstellungsthema und entfalten
bisher ungewohnte Zusammenhänge. Über einen Parcours inszeniert,
erschließen sich die künstlerischen Arbeiten durch die dialogische Setzung
im räumlichen Bezug. Die Ausstellung erstreckt sich über vier Etagen in
über zwanzig Räumen.
Begleitend werden im Opernstudio Biel in einem Konzert die Zwischenräume
von musikalischer und räumlich-visueller Komposition mit Ur- und
Erstaufführungen internationaler KünstlerInnen und MusikerInnen bespielt.
Die Ausstellung führt das Projekt EXTENDED COMPOSITIONS weiter, welches
erstmals in Berlin 2015 stattfand.

The exhibition EXTENDED COMPOSITIONS highlights the various linkages
between the visual arts and music, seeing and hearing, space and sound. In
the process it makes a new and independent form of artistic practice
visible, audible, and tangible.
Works from the fields of film, video, installation, painting, music and
sound offer different perspectives on the exhibition’s theme and also
spotlight new and unusual connections. Staged as a tour, the artistic
pieces enter into dialogue with one another and can thus best be grasped
in terms of their respective location. On four levels in over twenty rooms
the Art Centre Pasquart provides ideal conditions.
The exhibition will be accompanied on the evening of 6 May 2017 by a
concert at Schweizer Opernstudio Biel that will explore the interstices
between musical and spatial/visual compositions with both premiere and
debut performances by international artists and musicians.
The exhibition continues the EXTENDED COMPOSITIONS exhibition and concert
project which first took place in Berlin in 2015.
