STROM – Konzert für Luft- und Daten-Ströme
Die Besetzung von STROM mit Angelika Sheridan (Flöte/Bassflöte) und Frank Niehusmann (Elektronik) erinnert charmant an alte Kraftwerk-Sounds, spielt aber ganz zeitgenössisch mit Witz und Tricks der Neuen Musik.
Winzige Zeitverschiebungen im musikalischen Klangraum erzeugen faszinierende Minimal-Beats und schwebende Mikro-Modulationen. Luft- und Datenströme von Bassflöte und Elektronik verdichten ihre vielfarbigen Stakkato-Töne und offenen Improvisationslinien zu frei atmenden Geräusch-Texturen.

STROM – Conzert for Air- and Data-Streams

STROM practises an improvisatory concept for an unpredictably spontaneous disembarkment, transfer or continuation. This improvised music escapes from arranged, the planned and determined by means of ludic capers of taring, of balancing and juggling. The continuos switching between sudden pausing and speedy escapes is the circuit scheme. The STROM duo opposes the accountant-like need for notation of conventional persisting regimes, offering gear-changing escapades as a liberation movement or a loophole.
