Lewis University Fall 2013 MusicBYTES: Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring
The Lewis University Department of Music is now accepting submissions for fixed media compositions and video works to program on an upcoming musicBYTES concert this fall.
Call for Fixed Media Submissions
Eligibility: Anyone
Deadline: September 1, 2013
Entry Fee: None
Fixed media (no live performer) of any aesthetic and stylistic direction up to 18 minutes may be submitted. The theme for this concert is “Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring” and submissions should fit with this theme.
Submission Guidelines:
Submit the following files using a file sharing service such as Dropbox to music@lewisu.edu or make available for download.
Performance ready fixed media file
Biographical sketch with contact information in PDF format
Program Notes in PDF format
Do not send media file directly to the email address as an attachment
Incomplete applications or those not meeting these requirements will not be taken into consideration. All questions should be directed to Mike McFerron by emailing music@lewisu.edu.
