Opportunity for composers and performers:
From September 13th to 18th, 2014, the Escola de Música e Belas Artes
do Paraná Curitiba, Brazil) will present the SiMN 2014 + matrix14
on tour, a collaborative new music event with the EXPERIMENTALSTUDIO
des SWR. Composers and performers will have the opportunity to interact
with our guest faculty: EXPERIMENTALSTUDIO des SWR (Germany), ENSEMBLE
EXPERIMENTAL (Germany), Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf (Germany), Ermis
Theodorakis (Germany/Greece), Catarina Domenici (Brazil), Detlef
Heusinger (Germany), Dániel Péter Biró (Canadá/Hungary), Tsilumos
Ensemble (Canada), and our very own Ensemble Nih-Nik and Ensemble
Móbile. Our guests will conduct several activities such as concerts,
reading sessions (for selected composers), performance masterclass,
composition group lessons, lectures, instrumentation workshops,
electroacoustic music workshops, publications, etc.
