Dear lists,
in the course of the series EM4,
the TU Studio will present a portrait
concert dedicated to the American tape
music composer Tod Dockstader (1932–2015). Despite his ground-breaking compositions from the early 1960s, he belongs to the lesser-known protagonists of this genre.
Dockstader’s intriguing, diverse works from different creative phases will be diffused on a spread out loudspeaker setup at the Studiofoyer of the AdK, Hanseatenweg:

After the concert we are pleased to show a unique short excerpt of a
documentary, made exclusively for this concert by the director Alvin
Case. The content is based on
the upcoming feature length documentary
‚Dockstader‘.
