Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to announce a call for applications for a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Department of Letters and Philosophy, University of Trento, for the EU-funded project HE ERC LAUDARE. The successful candidate will join the team of researchers working under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Zimei and be involved in a systematic and interdisciplinary study of lauda to investigate the practice and dissemination of vernacular devotional texts through singing in the Middle Ages and early Renaissance.
The ideal candidate should have a PhD degree in Musicology and Music History, Philology, or Information Technology from an Italian or foreign university, or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad. If you have finished your PhD thesis and will receive your PhD title before the application deadline of March 31, 2023, you are also eligible to apply.
The research fellowship offers a gross amount of € 39.600,00 (excluding administrative burdens) for a duration of 12 months, renewable, starting in May 2023.
