Betreff: [cec-c] musIC 3.0: music for cochlear implants concert 2017

I would like to inform you about the musIC 3.0: music for cochlear implants concert that will take place on the 1st of December at 18:00 o’clock in Hannover, Germany.

I take the opportunity to invite you to the concert. The entrance to the concert is free. You just need to send me a message through: http://nogueirawaldo.weebly.com/contact.html.

The concert is the result of a composition process in which cochlear implant users, composers from the Hannover Music University and audiologist and engineers from the Medical University Hannover have collaborated. More information about the project can be found here: http://www.music4ci.com

The goal of the concert is to increase awareness about hearing loss, cochlear implant technologies and music enjoyment with cochlear implants. Moreover, most of the compositions are electroacoustic and the concert serves as a platform to promote this type of music.

The compositions are inspired by cochlear implant technology or are composed taking into account the perception obtained with these devices. However, note that the music is not necessarily specifically designed for cochlear implants, instead it is composed such that normal hearing listeners, hearing impaired and cochlear implant users can enjoy it.

If you cannot make it to Hannover, you can follow the concert through our Facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/events/124138104964500/
