Betreff: Call for 3D electroacoustic works – Berlin June 2021
Dear composers,
my name is Jakob Gille, I’m the organizer of the Into Sound concerts for 3D electroacoustic music.
I organized together with other composers until now 6 concerts in different locations in Berlin for quadrophonic and octophonic setups.
The specialty of the concerts lies in the focus and concentration on the music without live performance, video projection or light installation.
The audience is sitting on the floor inside the circle of loudspeakers in a dark environment without any distractions.

Currently, I’m planning the next concerts with the help of a sponsorship from Musikfonds from 11.06 – 13.06.2021 in the Ölberg-Kirche, Paul-Lincke-Ufer 29 Berlin.
We’ll have a really great setup of 12 Meyersound loudspeakers and 2 Subwoofers.
We’re searching for composers who are working in the general field of electronic/electroacoustic music.
There are no genre exceptions, it doesn’t have to be experimental only a professional and experienced way of working with electronic music is necessary.
Prior experiences in 3D audio are advantageous. To guarantee gender equality we’re looking especially for female composers.

Work: 8 – 10 min electronic music (no live performance) for a setup of 12 speakers
