Mixtape @ DkIT
To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Department of Creative Arts, Media, and Music, Dundalk Institute of Technology, Ireland are hosting a sound installation of fixed media works on Friday March 8th 2019.
We invite submissions of electronic music and sound exploring experimental techniques, for stereo or multi channel (up to 8 channels).
While there is no specific theme, our aim is to programme works which celebrate womanhood and welcome a broad array of innovative approaches to music and sound (acousmatic, radiophonic, avant pop, noise music, field recording etc)
The call is open to composers and artists of any nationality, age and gender.
Deadline for submissions is Friday 22nd February 2019
