Bangor University (Wales, UK) has funding of £10k per annum towards fees/costs for PhD studies.
The Parry-Williams Doctoral Studentship covers composition (including electroacoustic and acousmatic), and is open to UK, EU and international candidates.
Our PhD is composition focused (i.e. it mainly consists of a portfolio of compositions, with around 10-15k words of commentary). Software/technological development projects are welcome, but the outcome must be actual music (of course!)
I would be delighted to receive applications in the area of acousmatic composition (especially multi-channel) and/or live instruments/voices with electronics/computer processing. You can offer a mixed portfolio (e.g. some acousmatic, some instruments-only, some mixed.)
