Dear Friends and World Listeners,
This is a brief announcement to inform you I am working on World Listening Day 2018, with the World Listening Project’s Board of Directors and theme creator, Philippine sound artist Teresa Barrozo.
We have chosen Future Listening as this year’s theme title.
World Listening Day 2018 will be on July 18, the birthdate of Canadian composer, educator, and soundscape researcher R. Murray Schafer.
A description and theme prompts will be posted, including an invitation to global-local participation, as soon as possible.
