I am delighted to announce the first ever Composer/Computer/Distance conference. The event is a two day electronic music celebration on May 3rd and 4th of this year. Our aim is to provide a platform for musicians of color, female artist, queer artists, and other marginalized sound artists. The event will be held at a variety of independent venues in Sheffield’s city centre with activities ranging from formal talks, workshops, and concerts. Attendance and participation is free for all events, however, workshops are aimed towards audiences who identify with marginalized groups and are considered under-represented in the field. Spaces are limited at all events, please confirm your attendance through our Eventbrite page.
