We are pleased to announce that applications for PhD scholarships in music are now open. This concerns open competition applications as well as dedicated PhD scholarships related to the Sheffield-led project on ‚Music making a difference: Exploring inclusion and impact in community music networks‘.

Open competition applications are invited that relate to the research interests of our departmental staff in composition, ethnomusicology, musicology, music technology, performance, psychology of music, and sonic arts.

Deadline for the scholarships on ‚Music making a difference‘: 17th December 2018
Deadlines for open competition applications: Draft submission for feedback by 17th December 2018. Final submission by 23 January 2019.
