The Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague proudly presents a three-day festival around the electroacoustic works of Iannis Xenakis.
It is a unique opportunity to hear a wide selection of these works – most of them in their multi-channel format – on a top quality sound system within the perfect acoustics of the Arnold Schoenberg Hall.
The programs with electroacoustic works will be interspersed with solo instrumental pieces for cello, violin, piano and percussion, performed by Arne Deforce, Ekkehard Windrich, Akane Takada, Jasper Vanpaemel, Mei-Yi Lee and Pepe García Rodríguez.
In the afternoons there will be lectures by Richard Barrett, Arne Deforce, Luc Döbereiner, Raviv Ganchrow and Sergio Luque.
Everything (except the workshops by Sergio Luque) is open to the public, and the entrance is free!
