Exhibition Viewing & Artist Talk with Kinokophone, Jez riley French and

Coryn Smethurst

Are sounds the specimen of daily life, particular experiences, traces of

a time in the world? How can they live on as objects of study and what

stories do they tell? How can they be presented and how ought they be heard?

In this interactive audio installation, arts collective Kinokophone

explore the idea of sounds as collectible objects- as specimen to be

preserved, displayed, experienced and shared. The artwork is a

collaborative project between Kinokophone and sound recordists Jez riley

French and Coryn Smethurst.
