Die Konzerte im August
Leider wird im Juli nicht wie gewohnt am letzten Freitag des Monats
ein Konzert statt finden. Die Hörbar gönnt sich auch einmal eine
kleine Sommerpause. Unabhängig davon sind die Mittwoch Abende für Gäste ab 21.00 h geöffnet. Und endlich stehen auch die Konzerte für den Monat August fest:

Naked like a Virgin Bee

Naked like a Virgin Bee are a cosmonautical couple that have
discovered a vegetal portal called the Ha Ha HA HA tree doing long
urban forest walks. They are currently testing the four stemed tree’s trans-dimensional features by exploring its implications to martial saxophone sounds and interlacing guitar screams. Attacking each one’s soundscapes crossing the Ha Ha HA HA tree’s virtual ports in the gravity of wormholes and music clubs.

* Das elektrische Ich
Avantgarde. Zwischen no wave und punk. Kurz und knackig/krachig wie
discharge. Stark beeinflußt von no trend. „Das elektrisches Ich unterscheidet sich von anderen Iches in seiner strukturellen Ergiebkeit. Es ist in keinsterweise ein Verlierer im Gegensatz zum freudschen Überich. Das Surmoi steht jeden morgen auf und quietscht. Das elektrische Ich hingegen lässt es sein mit dem Liegen oder Aufstehen: ganz nach dem Motto: Fenster, Fenster(!) brauch ich nicht

* Broken Sleep
Broken Sleep is a Canadian experimental musician who has shared the
stage with a wide-ranging group of people (from sound artists to sludge metal and breakcoreacts) and is visiting Hamburg for the fourth time. Motivated by a desire to have a more cathartic improvisational experience, he is a returning again with a laptop (primarily for integrating/processing field recordings such as those collected on a recent trip to Nepal an India) but his Hörbar set will largely involve use of guitar pedals and various other pieces of outboard gear to produce sounds ranging from deep drones to abrasive ambience.
