Hallo,
wir haben noch ein paar Plätze in unserer SMC2016 Summer School frei.
Die Summer School verspricht ein besonderes Highlight kurz vor der SMC
Konferenz zu werden, und wir freuen uns daher über jeden Zuspruch. Die
Gebühren für 5 Tage intensiven Unterricht betragen 200 Euro.
Teil-Stipendien und Ermäßigungen können auf Antrag gewährt werden.

The Hamburg University of Music and Theatre in association with the
Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, the University of Hamburg and
the Leuphana University Lüneburg will host the 13th Sound and Music
Computing Conference (SMC) in Hamburg (Germany) from Wednesday, August
31 to Saturday, September 3, 2016. The SMC 2016 Summer School will take
place over 5 days from August 26 to 30, 2016.
The Summer School will give young researchers the opportunity to learn
about some of the core interdisciplinary topics and to share their own
experiences with other young researchers. This year’s motto is Neurons
and Networks, referring to:
Brain-computer music interfaces
Artificial neural networks for gesture recognition and complex mapping
Networked music performance and real-time music notation
Elaborate loudspeaker networks for wave-field synthesis and 3D
spatialization techniques
IRCAM technology
The students will be given the opportunity to present their works during
co ee break/poster sessions on the first three afternoons.
There will also be a network concert with student participation on the
second day.
