Subject: [Acma-l] Les Paul 1915-2009
Les Paul, one of the great innovators in music technology, has passed
away at the age of 94. I knew he’d done a lot, but how early he did
what is more fully discussed in this obituary:

I know he was also involved in the development of compression
technology in the late 50 & 60s. So he did a lot. AND, he kept
doing weekly guitar gigs at a club in New York until late last year,
I think it was. A good run!
