Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble – 1st Forum for Young Composers
In order to encourage the creation and circulation of new music works, the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble and the Goethe-Institut Portugal are organizing the 1st Forum for Young Composers, which will take place between the 17th and the 20th of May 2011 in Lisbon.
The „1st Sond’Ar-te International Forum for Young Composers“ is aimed to offer an opportunity to young music authors to compose new music and present it to a wider audience. The organizers intend to create a privileged space for exchanging ideas and experience between young composers and performers as well as organize a public performance of new works with the participation of the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble.
The Forum is open to all composers who live and work in Portugal or in Germany and who are under the age of 35 at the registration deadline.
All applications should be submitted at the latest by the 15th of March 2011.
