Call for Works/Performances 2014
IRCAM launches its 3rd edition of this call, the winners of which will perform on stage in IRCAM’s Espace de projection on November 20 during an evening of performances combining contemporary creation, electronic music, and new technologies.

IRCAM Forum Workshops
Call for Contributions
Led by the IRCAM researchers, these workshops (November 19-21) are the annual meeting of the IRCAM software users‘ group. These workshops are open to all audio professionals, artists, composers, performers… The program includes conferences, demonstrations, an open space, hands-on workshops, and a techno café.

Artistic Research Residency. 6th Edition.
This program is open to composers, artists, and audio professionals (instrument makers, sound designers, etc.) who wish to pursue their research at IRCAM, and deepen their musical and technological experience and become involved in the institute’s intellectual life.

Michaël Levinas. Les désinences
The Messiaen au Pays de la Meije Festival has programmed the newest work by Levinas, Les désinences, for two pianos and electronics, composed and performed by the composer himself with Jean-Luc Plouvier.

Robert HP Platz. Closed Loop
First performed in 1984 for solo guitar, the new version ofClosed Loop is performed here with electronics. The guitar used was built by Maurice Dupont and modified during the IMAREV project coordinated by IRCAM.
