II CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL ESPACIOS SONOROS Y AUDIOVISUALES:
EXPERIMENTACIÓN SENSORIAL Y ESCUCHA ACTIVA
Y JIEM 2014 – 20ª JORNADAS DE INFORMÁTICA Y ELECTRÓNICA MUSICAL
Este congreso pretende ofrecer un foro de debate amplio y profundo en
torno al concepto de espacio sonoro poniendo en común las artes del
tiempo, con las artes del espacio. Se trata con ello de dar cabida a
nuevos ámbitos de conocimiento, tanto científicos como artísticos en
torno a este campo. La implicación del oyente en el hecho auditivo
esuna variable de primera magnitud, de tal manera que en esta edición se
pretende enfocar el estudio en cómo el espectador o el “escuchante”
experimenta y se involucra, o no, de una manera activa en la música
oel sonido que se presenta en un espacio. Seguimos con el concepto de
espacio sonoro. El congreso incluye sesiones científicas (ponencias,
conferencias y mesas redondas) a desarrollar en el campus de la UAM,
dos conciertos en el Centro Reina Sofía, y una exposición de
instalaciones sonoras. Los temas principales serán: Las relaciones
espacio-tiempo en la Música y en la Arquitectura, el Espacio
Sonoro,la Música Electroacústica y otros.

II INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE SOUND SPACES AND AUDIOVISUAL SPACES:
SENSORIAL EXPERIMENTATION AND ACTIVE LISTENING.
and JIEM 2014 – 20th COMPUTER AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC DAYS
This conference seeks to offer a forum of wide and deep debate around
the concept of sound space sharing knowledge between temporary arts
and spatial arts. The objective deals with comprehending areas of
knowledge in a new scope, so much scientific as artistic around this
field. The implication of the listener in listening facts is an
outstanding variable, as in this issue there is the attempt to focuse
attention on the study about how the audience or the listeners
experiment stimuli, or take part in an active way in the music or the
sounds that appear at any space. We continue with the concept of
sound space. The conference includes scientific sessions (lectures,
communications and round-table sessions) to be developed in the campus
of UAM, two concerts in Centro Reina Sofía, and a sound installation exhibition
The main topics include:
the relationships space-time in Music and Architecture, Sound Space, Electroacustic music,
and other topics.
