Betreff: Orphans: Call for Works
Submissions of audio-visual works lasting no more than 5 minutes are
currently being sought. The key rule is that materials must be
“found” – this might take the form of uncovered archival film,
photographs, musical instruments, digital sounds…or it may be
something a bit more abstract.
The selected works will be screened at Aberdeen’s Belmont
Picturehouse on Sunday 21st October as part of Sound Festival 2012
and featured on the Orphans website (http://
whyteorphans.wordpress.com/).
The event will also include a selection of audio-visual installations
and live performances held in the bar area of the cinema. Artists
will include Adam Cresser, Pascal Battus, Ross Whyte and Richard Craig.
