On Wednesday 27 March 2019 we will present this academic year’s fourth Sonology Discussion Concert, including three audiovisual works, a piece for bassoon and live electronics by Richard Barrett, a spatial exploration of the concert hall with percussion instruments, and more.
The previously announced concerts on 29 and 30 March in collaboration with the Rewire festival and the GRM Acousmonium are canceled unfortunately. However, instead we will have a concert in collaboration with the Konrad Boehmer Foundation and Rewire, featuring works by two of this year’s Konrad Boehmer Visiting Professors, Daniel Teruggi (Argentina/France) and Nic Collins (US). There will be fixed-media pieces by Teruggi and Collins, performed by the composers, and an improvisation with Collins on trumpet and electronics with Gabriel Paiuk on piano.
Both concerts start at 19:30, the entrance is free.
Please also save the dates for the symposium Transformations of the Audible, which is curated and chaired by Gabriel Paiuk around the presence of yet another 2019 Konrad Boehmer Visiting Professor, the Austrian composer Peter Ablinger.
Looking forward seeing you here!
