The Music Subject team at Brunel are pleased to announce a vacancy for a Lecturer in Music specialising in any area of musicology.
You will be a committed academic with a strong research profile and proven record in teaching and administration who will develop the School’s research profile towards the Research Excellence Framework. You will contribute to teaching at all levels across a number of periods of western music history, including but not restricted to music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. You will also undertake the supervision of research students in appropriate areas.
Music at Brunel is known for its commitment to teaching and research specialising in the music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, with a staff including many internationally recognised composers and performers.
The post will commence on 1 September 2013, or as soon as possible thereafter.
